WCAG 2.2 AA

Accessibility statement

SameBoat is built so everyone can navigate a major life transition without digital barriers.

Our commitment

Varry LLC aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA across both sameboat.app and app.sameboat.app.

  • Contrast & type: Color pairings in both the Light Paper and Dark Ink themes are chosen for at least 4.5:1 contrast for body text, set in Atkinson Hyperlegible for clear character distinction.
  • Keyboard & screen readers: Keyboard navigation, visible focus rings, a skip link, 44×44px touch targets, and semantic HTML landmarks.
  • Motion: CSS and GSAP animations switch off when your device asks for reduced motion (prefers-reduced-motion: reduce).

Report an accessibility barrier

If anything on SameBoat is hard to use with assistive technology, email hello@sameboat.app. We review every report.
